The International Coaching Course (ICC) is your opportunity to gain unparalleled expertise in sports coaching. Hosted by the renowned Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) and supported by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Olympic Solidarity (OS), this 8-week on-campus program is designed for passionate coaches eager to refine their skills and broaden their horizons.
Since its inception in 1971, the ICC has trained thousands of coaches from around the globe, blending cutting-edge theoretical education with hands-on practical experience to help you achieve excellence in your coaching career.

COMPREHENSIVE CURRICULUM
The ICC provides an ideal balance between theory and practice, offering in-depth training across a variety of Olympic sports.
- Theoretical Modules: Learn advanced coaching concepts, including training methodologies, sports science, psychology, and pedagogy.
- Practical Modules: Apply your knowledge through real-world coaching exercises in up to 10 sports disciplines, tailored to your expertise.

RENOWNED CERTIFICATION
Graduates of the ICC receive an internationally recognized Certificate of Completion, boosting your qualifications and opening doors to new career opportunities in the global sports.

8 weeks (offered twice a year – Spring and Fall)

Specializations:
You can choose from 6 sports disciplines in the 2026 Spring Semester: basketball, football (soccer), general conditioning, handball, tennis, wrestling
Participation Fee: €7,900
This fee includes:
- Instruction and examinations
- Accommodation & meal plan
- Public transportation pass valid within the borders of Hungary
- Airport transfers

Note: Airfare, Schengen visa, and sport-specific equipment are not included.
Applicants may be eligible for Olympic scholarships for coaches, covering course fees if supported by their NOC and OS. To apply, contact your NOC and submit your application through the RELAY online platform.

PRACTICAL MODULES
Participants engage in practical coaching at leading Hungarian sports clubs, supervised by senior lecturers and their assistants.
The course content is designed to meet the needs of coaches working with both developing and elite athletes. The program includes both theoretical and practical teaching hours, and completing both components is essential for training competent coaches. The teaching staff consists of internationally renowned university professors, specialists, qualified coaches, and sports scientists, ensuring the quality of education.
Applications are open for 7-9 Olympic sports every year, depending on the demand and actual applications. HUSS offers General Conditioning every semester, a sport specification unique to our university.

Upon completing the program, participants receive a Certificate of Completion, gaining internationally recognized qualifications that enhance their expertise and open new career opportunities in the sports field.
