Application 2025/26
Spring Semester
Call for application for Pannonia Program traineeship mobility for the 2025/2026 spring semester (outgoing students).
The International Relations Centre at HUSS announces the Pannonia Program for traineeship abroad mobility application.
About the program
The program aims to help students acquire skills needed in the labor market and to understand the economic and social culture of the host country. Students are free to choose the location of their traineeship worldwide. A traineeship is a period of time spent working in a company or organisation in another country.
- You must pursue your studies aimed at obtaining a diploma at HUSS and must have an active student status during your mobility.
- You must have completed at least one semester at the time of submitting the application if you are a bachelor student. Students participating in a master’s and doctoral programs are exempt from this requirement.
- You must meet the formal requirements of the application. Applicants are ranked based on their GPA, sports achievements, and public and/or professional activities. Relevant documentation must be included with the application.
- You must have at least B2 language skills in the language of instruction, or you must be participating in HUSS’s foreign language program. If you do not have a language exam, you may obtain a proof of language proficiency from the relevant department (Sportszaknyelvi Lektorátus) of the university. Please find their email address HERE.
- If you are a PhD student you are also eligible to participate in a traineeship.
- In one training cycle (BSc, MSc, PhD), the total mobility period can be a maximum of 12 months.
- Before submitting your application for traineeship abroad, you must fill out and upload a written study contract (Mobility Agreement) with the content agreed upon in advance.
- At the end of the mobility period, the host company must fill and sign the After the Mobility part of your Mobility Agreement and Certificate of Traineeship Period.
- Exchange programs are not available to students in their final semester.
- HUSS is obliged to fully accept the activities undertaken, completed and certified in the study contract (Grant Agreement).
- You are entitled to a study scholarship or other loan disbursement received at HUSS during the mobility period spent abroad as well.
- The duration of the physical mobility has to be between 60 and 75 days at the host company.
- You must have adequate health, accident and liability insurance for the duration of your internship. (All three are required, unless the host company provides your insurance or states in writing that you do not need liability insurance for the duration of your internship.)
- If a student successfully applies for the traineeship and withdraws their application after nomination without a well-grounded reason, they may only resubmit an application after skipping one application cycle.
The Pannonia Program traineeship mobility application can be submitted via HUSS online application portal.
Application deadline: 30th April 2026
Earliest mobility start date: 1st June 2026
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION:
- Proof of relevant language skills: Please attach your language certificate(s) to your application. If you do not have one, a certificate must be issued by the language department (Sportszaknyelvi Lektorátus). Please find their email address HERE
- Proof of your GPA: Showing your last semester’s results, and GPA. Please contact the Academic Office to obtain this document.

By submitting your application, you authorize the relevant HUSS associates to read your motivation letter and use it anonymously for research and/or as a tool for improving the application process.
You can apply for a traineeship at a company or organization operating in any country, which will provide you with the appropriate support and mentoring. Students are free to choose their internship location. The applicant is responsible for studying the partner’s profile, coordinating the employment conditions of the given host country with the host company and the necessary administration, visa procedures (if needed). Get as much information as possible about the company, discuss the conditions with them and the possible benefits.
You can look for possible traineeship opportunities HERE.
It is very important that you can only travel with valid health, accident and liability insurance. All three types of insurance are required.
You can calculate the approximate amount of your scholarship in advance. The scholarship is a contribution to the implementation of your mobility plan, but it does not necessarily cover all your costs. Before you jump in, make sure to prepare a budget. The amount depends on the destination country and the period spent abroad. It is a lump sum, so there is no itemized settlement, but you must prove the completion of the mobility as per your scholarship contract. After signing the contract, you will receive the scholarship in one amount in HUF.
